There is much more to k-pop than a simple abbrievation. K-pop is a subculture resulting in a widespread of interest. It provides proof that world-wide connection is indeed possible. You dont necessarily need to understand the words to enjoy music. Music is universal and it brings people together allowing life-long friendships/relationships to form.

Even though the music itself is in Korean and people may not necessarily understand it, there are so many people all over the globe who listen to k-pop and look up to many of the idols in the industry regardless of the language barrier. K-pop is forever inspiring and it inspires many people to go out and discover what true diversity actually is and what it's about.
